This subject trains learners in the computer skills and legal database proficiency expected of Supreme Court law clerks and tested indirectly in Part 1, focusing on e-SCR, SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, Westlaw and MS Office tools.
By the end of this subject, the learner will be able to perform targeted legal research on major databases using Boolean operators, manage documents and citations effectively using word processing tools, and demonstrate the computer literacy required of a law clerk in the Supreme Court environment.
